Smiling wide,
Talking polite.
Standing tall,
In the ball.

His eyes drift,
And the world shifts.
His eyes got caught,
By the princess's train of thought.

                                                            The princess caught him peeking,
                                                                     Her dazzling eyes gleaming.
                                                                                 Looked away she did,
Blushing as red as a little kid.

She hoped he was a dreamer,
For she wanted him to lead her
                                                                                       In her nightmares.
Keeping her safe from the stares.
