A strange man, you don't know him
He smiles at you, though you don't smile back
He looks at you, you look away
He walks, you walk away
You can't tell the truth
Who'd believe you anyway
He's a bad man, a dangerous man
You can't sleep at night
You're not safe during the day
You're not safe from the stares
You're not safe from the looks
You can't let it show
how you really feel inside
You just want to go
Go anywhere but home
Home isn't safe, nor is the road
You can't get away, you'll never get away
You want to feel happy, you want to feel safe
Nobody understands, even if they say they do
You hate who you're turning into
You hate who you are
All because of the bad man
The same bad man who keeps you up at night
The same bad man who made you feel this way
The same bad mad who you never even knew
Everything that happened was put on you
You,re just a kid, you deserve to have fun
But he came into your life
He enveloped you in his darkness
You're suffocating
