A Parent’s Love
Joylessness, Loneliness -
Instilled in me from the moment,
My eyes opened to the world.
Unforgiving, Wounded,
I carried dead weight already.
While my parents gleamed
With unconditional,
Paradoxically absent love -
I let out the biggest cry.
