Do you see that man
Holding the child's hand
Do you see the woman
Reading the book
Do you see the teenage girl
Texting away on her phone
The man is not the child's father
But you don't know that
The woman is dying
But you don't know that
The teenage girl is pregnant
But you don't know that
We watch and we think we see
We assume and we judge
We don't know anything
Yet we all act like we do
