People are just cruel.
They have no sympathy.
No empathy.
No sense of reality.

I am sick of my friends, and their sicknesses and illnesses,
And their lies and false affection.
Are there people who care, beyond this bubble of deceit?
Do you not see the pain you inflict?

People are just cruel.
They are only out for themselves.
And you, who says he is not,
Well you're about as shallow as the rest of them.

A liar is worse than a terrible friend,
I may be neglectful and hateful and cruel,
But at least I am true.
That's the least you could do.
