Why do you refuse my love?
Why don’t you believe I’m enough?
Why don’t you allow me to take care of you?
Why do you choose to be hurt?
Why can't I stop loving you?
Why does my room still hold your scent?
Why do my clothes still carry your embrace?
Why don’t you trust me?
Why are you so scared of the future?
Why can't I stop smoking?
Why can't I let you go?
Why do I keep hurting myself by loving you?
And why do I ******* love doing so?

You can tell me no,
Scream that you hate me—
I will wait for you,
With the love you deserve,
With an intensity only I know how to give.

I challenge you to forget me.
I propose a bargain with God:
Let me see you one more time,
And I will show you all the future lines.
