Let Your Light Shine

by @showyoulove

Your light shines far brighter than the sun You are a beacon of hope where it seems there is none Your light is beautiful, shining from the inside out To gaze upon it only a moment dispels my doubt Your light may be one, your light may be small But there may be someone to whom your one light is all Seek out the light in the darkness of the night Step into the circle where happiness can be found Love, and warmth, and peace are all around Help others to find their special inner glow Surround yourself with other lights to make it grow Things may look bleak, the outlook may be grim But sing color to the gray, sing aloud a hymn And you will find, in due time, hope start to swell One day, you'll be able to say, "With my soul, it is well" Light a candle and set it out for one and all to see A candle in memory, solidarity, peace and harmony For all mankind, be a shining illustration Of love and compassion in any situation Your light is desperately needed in the world An open hand when so many fists are curled We are a light not to be hidden, but be seen And we believe in the beauty of our dreams
