Pressing On

by @showyoulove

When the world is against me and my backs against the wall When I get tripped up, and I slip, stumble and fall It's okay, it's alright I'll be fine; I'm pressing on! I keep my head up high; I keep my heart beating strong If I face the sun and lean into the wind, I can't go wrong With one foot in front of the other; I'm pressing on! Don't give up the fight; stand up for what's right We're going to work it out, we're going to talk it out We are walking together; together, we are pressing on! We learn what we are capable of when the going gets tough We find out how and what it means to deeply and truly love Turning hatred off; compassion we're pressing on! Reach out your hand for the hand of another Lend a hand to all your sisters and brothers Heart to heart and hand to hand; we are pressing on!
