God said to me
wake up and see,
and I replied oh Lord why?
as I sighed.

God already knew
that I was armed
with all my whys and sighs.

In spite of me
and what I was
with doubts and fears
tales and tears
left to question all that's me,
so I will try
amid my why and my sigh
to wake up and see
as God has said to me.
