From Strangers to Us
I find myself lost in time,
Memories playing, frame by frame,
Like films that never fade or dim,
Soft whispers calling out your name.
I think of how far we’ve come,
From strangers lost in separate days,
To classmates sharing fleeting words,
To groupmates finding common ways.
From duty shifts in weary nights,
To laughter shared in stolen space,
To best friends walking side by side,
Hearts unspoken, yet in place.
And now we stand as something more,
A love that grew from quiet starts.
Yet still, those simple days remain,
Etched forever in my heart.
I smile at every past embrace,
The moments small, yet shining bright,
For even then, before we knew,
My soul had loved you at first light.
