I'll never get used to the way that you treat me
The things that I've done were so harsh and i cant see
just what you see in me

Falling asleep you give praise, grace and kindness
Saying that I deserve this with your blindness
Of what I used to be

I dont deserve you, your kindness is not due
But even despite that i lie here with you
As you fall asleep

I hear your soft voice and i hold back my tears
The storms they have cleared for as long as you're here
I am yours to keep
this was written after falling asleep to the sound of your voice when I was still alone at night
