A canvas once painted with vibrant hues
Now faded, worn, and torn in two
The brushstrokes of memory still linger on
A bittersweet reminder of what's been undone

A tree that stood tall, its branches wide
Now withered, bare, and shattered inside
Its roots still clinging to the earth below
A testament to love that refused to let go

A river that flowed with gentle, loving streams
Now reduced to trickles, mere echoes of dreams
Its waters still whispering secrets to the shore
A reminder of love that was, and what's been lost forevermore

A flame that burned bright, its warmth and light
Now reduced to embers, a dying, fading sight
Its ashes still holding the memories of the past
A bittersweet reminder of love that will forever last.
