To lie on
Cheaters Need a Lie to Bed On
Cheaters need a lie to bed on,
A quilt of falsehood finely spread.
Their whispers weave a fragile fabric,
Where hollow dreams dare rest their head.
Each thread is spun from fleeting shadows,
Each stitch a secret, sharp and thin.
But lies, though soft in their beginning,
Soon unravel from within.
The weight of truth, a restless burden,
Presses heavy on the frame.
And though they think their bed eternal,
Itβs set alight by sparks of shame.
For honesty, though slow to waken,
Carries with it steady might.
And darkness flees when it is met with
The piercing dawn of morning light.
