Because some of you asked for a follow up;
My son and grandson, Oregon Firefighters
engaged in fighting the LA wildfires, as of
today the 19th, are doing fine, still assigned
to the Palisades Blaze. Tired, sleep deprived,
and dirtier than they wish to be. But eating
well.

On the line 16 hours on and 8 hours off
around the clock. Been there since the 9th
have no idea when they will finish. They
will no doubt have many stories to tell
when they return home. So far safe, sound
and still highly motivated.
Thanks for your kind thoughts & good wishes.
