It was a crisp day
In the beginning of the season
The sun was bright blue with a dotting of a few white clouds

There was cold hanging in the air
It was bitter to the skin
People were huddled in
their warm clothes
Seeking something to take away
the chill
Streets were less busy
The weather keeping them away
