The lady left over, from sin and debris
Of debts unpaid- forgiveness the fee
Left yet again to her own devices
Finding her mind always landing in crisis
Losing heart and finding no peace
Whittled her hope her light did decrease

Her breast beat with a darker sided jewel
All she had been taught was how to be cruel
She wanted much more from life than this sorrow and pain
She needed more than worrying tomorrow would just drive her insane

She found a hope in the form of a Savior

she was lavished in mercy
Then showered in grace
She realized her trust had been misplaced
In all her searching in three world's great design

She found a precious heart of gold
More heavy than kind
She tossed away the graceless piece
Then rushed back to save it from being released

The fear and the Hope-  the pain - and the strength of his Faith
The tears and a rope - a spiritual drain - turning her into a wraith

She found her solace in the soul in his eyes
That heals and holds truth he looks so wise
She was proud to stand resolute with him
In any battle no matter how grim

He held her and loved her and graced her with mercy
He fed her and clothed her - her spirit never left thirsty
He found in her what he loved in himself
A reflection of a life that was set on a shelf

He began to live his life again
His eyes laughed with his friends
His heart rejoiced in her promises kept
Also - the silence of the house while she slept

He led her back to her light
She learned from him how to continue to fight
He was the catalyst a mere a photo frame
Putting all in perspective - just by speaking his name

Daniel speaks his mind in all places he goes
He is a fount of strength a source of hope
He led me back to salvation and taught what it means
He helped me find Christ by speaking his dreams.
