Down with the father
The kids are back
A lifetime lies behind them
And you’re frozen in red glass

Down with the father
Mothers have vanished
Behind a curtain of secrets
Pyramids were found

Not in the black wall safe
Not in the jaws of the grey wolf
Not in dreams anymore
Not for a long time

Did happiness ever shine in here?
The happiness we once danced for
It flickered ochre-yellow in the room
While the streets gathered dust

Pull my thoughts to the surface —
I’ll build you a land
The elders have been there for ages
Frozen in red glass

This is another time
You know
Back then they used to roar:
Down with the father!
Down With The Father
