New Year's Eves
the winds of time on the Asphalt
sweeping the sands

At the thought that the year is turning
Winter more lonely
than fall

In a narrow alley
little children play
on low roofs
the day is burning red

When tears running away
slipping between fingers
sitting winter down
beside me
along the banks of the Hudson

I will take a drive.
