Confused, scared, I am filled with these mixed emotions.
Looking left and right all I find is a never ending ocean we call life.
Writing the diary of my life to only be another person throwing it away in this vast ocean.
Trying to not walk through life as a ghost blending into this ocean I look for my own way.
I want a future after death to help others find their way as I seek to do for myself.
For now I am only drifting, slowly on a plank of wood drawing closer into midst of the ocean.
Pushed back by waves I try to find a larger vessel that will throw the waves aside.
Finally I find explorers like myself aboard a fairly large ship, as they allow me to board it.
They pull out a map and inform me of their plan to safely make it across this ocean.
Sailing along I notice an interesting island and suggest we explore it.
First rejecting the thought I persuade them to take a risk, as we wash up on shore.
On the island we find gold, fresh water, food, shelter, and many other things as well as dangerous animals.
Well worth the risk we tried the same thing on another island but found a new disease that killed some of our crew.
Discouraged, we finished crossing the ocean as we look back on our lives, we had good times, terrible times, decent times, but we made it.
Finishing my last line in my diary darkness turns to light as I cast my journal into the ocean and watch it drift away as I fade...
