Oct 2013
every yawning dawn which breaks
across the valleys see
look how glowing heavens wake
and shine all of her being

freed again from slumbers dark
to color shadows turn
on a journey day embarks
with promise to return

for a sun which gently peeks
through sky overcast
glides into my summer breeze
through this love of ours

so beneath first evening star
birds fly off to nests
splashing myriad hues afar
sun hurries to the west

how heavens sequin her sky
with glowing stars and moon
like fragrances in forest night
she fades in blissful swoon

here lie some cozy dreams
in eyes of silent shelves
all in nights when she is
her own tranquil self
tranquil
