Dec 3
white cheeks
black head
black and white wings
red belly
and eyes that gaze into
the distance Alone
but not lonely
build a home in a tree
your heart that sings cheerfully
hangs on the tree
looks beyond the sky
a couple gentleman and lady
with a strong beak
awakens the loneliness of the forest
and the rain, thunder
while shaking telephone poles.
