Laughter that echoes joy,
Screams that shatter peace.

Tender kisses and warm embraces,
Then nails, teeth — the violent release.

Red rose petals on the bed,
Blood drops staining the floor.

Serenades and whispered praises,
Then curses hurled, love turned war.

A future spun from golden promises,
Now scattered in the dust of loss.
