I have grown and I'm still growing
I want you to know
That I'm no longer a child
To cry for milk
Neither am I an adult
To be a parent
I'm just a teenager who needs attention.

I'm not being rude
Someone should hear me out
I also need a shoulder to cry on
Friends i do have them
But we are on the same line of communication.
We need advice from above
Please be there for us

I want to be an adult
To be resposible for my own decisions.
Guidance is what i need
Don't abandon or threaten me
Otherwise i will be a disappointment
To my family and
Entire community at large.

With your wide experience,
Teach me wisdom
Don't shy from the topic of sexuality
Because I do not know everything
Thats why I keep searching.
The media will only corrupt my morals.
Because I want to be like you,
Don't let 'them' call me a pervert or a *** maniac
I'm also a human.

Show me love
And I will open up,
Share with you my darkest secrets.
And sooner than you know
We shall be best friends.
