I look out on the sea
The colors reflect those of my eyes
The same ones that always make me feel free
For out here there is no ties

It’s just me and an empty vessel
More than a question, but less than an answer
A quiet place for one to nestle
A saving grace from those who banter

It’s a quiet life out here
But there’s a peacefulness that comes with
The kind the brings forth no fear
Almost as if its a myth

I fear that I fear no man
I fear that I have become what I oppose
For this place there’s nowhere for me to stand
Just throw me in the river, let me rest with the crows
