Chastened prince who once refused the crown
Although the people knew he ruled
Scintillated in a tall place
Somehow less crude
Than he used to be
Made no odds really
On the vital tunes
All allusion fell away
As excellence accrued
Frozen in the presence of the rare
It felt rude to be
Outside o the self.
