My love you’re gone forever
I see you where you’re not
I sense you in the shadows
In each familiar spot
Your scent imbues my pillow
with the memory of one night
when all the world stood still
You were my love,my light
Now you are a memory
A half forgotten truth
That love is ever living
and my love is the proof
