The days grow long, the nights so cold,
Since you vanished, my sister, my heart turned old.
The world keeps turning, but time stands still,
Each moment without you, an empty thrill.Twenty-five years you should have today,
Yet here I am, with words I cannot say.
No candles to light, no cake to share,
Just silent tears and whispered prayers.I miss your smile, your laugh, your light,
The way you’d turn my darkest night bright.
But now I search the skies so wide,
Hoping to catch a glimpse of you, my guide.Happy Birthday, wherever you roam,
May the stars lead you safely back home.
Until then, my heart will keep its beat,
Holding your memory, so bittersweet.Though you’re not here to see this day,
In my heart, you’ll always stay.
And every year, as the earth turns round,
I’ll wish you joy, wherever you’re found.
