Senior Serenade

I want to be alright
For the rest of my life
Have no more fears
On my coming years

Just have a home
I can call my own
With my own kitchen
Do my own cookin’

Just to live carefree
As free as I can be
Not a care for rent
In my retirement

Just to be at peace
With no enemies
Be a caring friend
To everyone I can

Yes, I’m getting old
And my fate’s untold
But if I had a wish
My wish is just for this…

I want to be alright
For the rest of my life
Have no more fear
On the coming years
