The candle stick
is burning quick
and will soon
be out of wick
keeping it lit
will really be
a trick
of magic
to see
if the flame
will remain
alive
sputtering
to survive
its light
flickering
in a soft
breath of air
will it be
dark
or light
again
burning
at both
ends
