Who says we can't catch the train running down the hill from our childhood mountain

Watch the snow melt and the rain fade away

Been so afraid of letting go, I have played pretend, guarded my heart from the sticks and stones and felt so alone
your only really happy in company.

The world is racing and your hanging on
The world is racing and you leave yourself behind
The world is racing and your catching up
but you need more time

Spring is breaking, and the old world wastes away, giving food to bottomfeeders, and those that need more than us
We are all reborn and with every season comes another you

Frozen in the cold, the streets are mean, eating your icecream, throw your trash underneath the stars and get in your car, and you leave it all a mess
