I see you crying
Thinking it's the final straw
Wondering if you have it in you
Before the final curtain call

You ask yourself if this is worth it
The makeup and the masquerades
Entertaining all these people
Underneath the lights with a pretty face

Close your eyes
Even the brightest stars
Can't be seen sometimes

The show must go on
It's not the time to take a bow
The show must go on
Even though you wonder how
Take a breath it's okay
If you make mistakes
That's what we do
In this business we call life
We live and learn it's not too late
The show must go on

I can tell your nervous
Like you've got something to prove
You walk out there trying not to fall
Trying so hard not to play a fool

Well yes it's tough
But the best things don't come free
Nothing worth it is ever easy
If it was imagine what the world would be

Take your time
You've still got
The rest of your life

But The show must go on
It's not the time to take a bow
The show must go on
Even though you wonder how
Take a breath it's okay
If you make mistakes
That's what we do
In this business we call life
We live and learn it's not too late
The show must go on
