Tears fell from her eyes
In disbelieve she rolled her frail body like a ball
Holding her feeble knees to her face
Her heart pumped pain through her body
"What will I do without you", she cried
Tears fell from her eyes

Right next to her he sleeps every night
Better conversations with his phone he has
His fingers typed in quick responses of laughter
While she read the Holy Book in pain
Silence was the music that kept them at peace
While tears ran down her pink cheeks

He left her for the woman on the phone
A tight competition of broken word
Texting has become a norm in the house
While she cooks the food demanded in rage
Crippled by fear of the fist
She cries and stirs the pots of pain

Tears of pain fell from her eyes
She talks to the man upstairs every night
About the vile man sleeping next to her
Touching her body with ***** hands
Lusting for her figure and not her heart
She cries in sorrow and waits for tomorrow

Her tears did not fall on the ground
The Man upstairs counted them all
He put them in a bottle
"This too shall pass my dear child"
Tears of Joy fell from her eyes
Because her prayers have been heard
