I stumble past the paths we walked in light
Yet now alone

Enveloped in tendrils of impending night
Fear coils across my bones

Laboured breath pronounces my plight
As from within the trees you start to moan

A blanket of fog snakes within your wake
And I scream lies of undying hate

Secrets shared upon paths filled with slanted light
Sadly I've found offer no respite from what stalks the night
