My lovely London what have you done to me
Born on your lung
Carefree dreams while the timekeeper  swung
A life with you led by midnight questions and glee
I wish you answered instead of me walking home at three

For now I live on far away lands
With mi amor and these hardworking hands
I think there will come a day when we are one once more
Though I will not be the same man as I was before
I will daydream of you until this Tejas Sun must go
See you soon old friend
I miss you more than you will ever know
