You sure ain't got nothing when
you're in love with every lady
you meet while there's leaves between
your toes that are spread around
the street.

The boy wrangles in anger
but mostly just helplessly
until the snow fall crystallizes
the earth and makes all wind
northern blown.

Sisters scratch and hiss over
dresses stitched in 1666 while
hiding in a black lit room, texting
and making sure their attacks only
make others' dooms
