As the grass fields hush,
Longe a man, a lone sentinel,
Awaiting in the night's embrace,
By the river's mirror grace.

Mountains watch quietly,
Under swirling clouds
With bright yellow stars,
Dancing in the air.

A house, a haven by the bank,
Faces the man with silent thanks,
Does he gaze at dreams unseen,
Or yearn for home, lost memory?
