When she was little
The world revolved around the little things
The way the raindrops slid down the window
How the leaves changed
How two people could portray so much hate

When she was little
The world seemed to show a different light
Not necessarily bright
But a low gleam
Always being covered by negativity

As she grew up
Life seemed to knock her down
The ground became her home
The light became unknown
Love became a shallow hole of uncertainty

Now she struggles between the light and the dark
Looking for a new start
If you know her
You show her unconditional love
She walks through life
With an undeniable weight on her shoulders
But you hold her
And show her that life is more than what it seems
And she believes you
Has faith in you
So hold to the truth
We all have things we don't want to lose

She is now at a crossroads
And where to go is unclear
But she can't live with fear
Her past is one big nightmare
As she gets older
Those little things begin to grow
And she begins to show signs of fighting
Igniting her insides
Don't believe all the lies
I am who I am
If you don't understand
Don't bother opening your mouth

She is no longer little
So remember her name
She believes in fame
