Dec 10
take a nomadic man, migrating corner to alley
worn out jacket and shoes nothing to lose but his mortality
who was he? tell me his story
was he a victim of the system?
a decapitation of humanity
tattoos on his soul the undesirable
worthy of nothing but whispered screams of foresakenment

I walk down the street where every crack I step on crackheads
cracked homes and broken promises by people who sit on thrones
trifling with cigars of ashes, put out on an ashtray of cremation
swept away by the dustpan, do not hold by the panhandle

give the king a bottle
he'll get drunk with power
powerless it's senseless to fight the census
dogs starve to death in a pig's world
severed souls under soles swiped away like ****
it smells all over this filthy street
every crosswalk is a broken lineage
straight out the womb, the first breath is power
but you are powerless.

this is karmic detention
you must pay for your freedom from the powers that be
who give all the wealth to the drug of power
then hallucinate that the people are the problem

that to struggle is to atrophy
on the crown is a diamond for every corpse
it shines the beholder blind with power
powerless, from first to last glance
all the hungry are seen as rats less than that
a reflection of our morality
a contradiction.
