Guilt Distilled

It’s hard to turn away
From all of what I see
If I close my eyes
The guilt distills in me

When I write about
All I need to say
Sadly, I see
Love ones fade away

But if I turn my back
To all, that must be seen
Well, Then I risk to lose
My own humanity
