Fleeting tapestry
Of existence spun
Life’s compendious script;
A parchment claimed fair
Yet building empires—
A solitary affair

In this transient letter
A lone sovereign’s decree
Declare your longings, love
Or simply depart,—
His favorite part (?) —
Silently…
“Oh, but life is too lonely to build an empire alone, love. So speak your presence, should it be known. Or walk away…forever.”
