Jesus has been dead for over 2000 years
and all we can do is fetch the beers
2000 years, not much as changed
5 years now we stay engaged

When we walk down the street we get grabbed
then we wake up in hospital shot or stabbed
you have drive by shootings
and all we manage to do is hold special meetings

With all this going on we shed tears
not much as changed over the last 2000 years
