STARS

One two three

The stars have come

The owls in the trees

The dark in the sky

One two three

I see them sparkle

brighter and brighter

yellow as the flame of my grandmothers lighter

One two three

I see them fade

I see the darkness go away

One, just one is left

The sun has come out to stay

To make way for the day
