Dear brain, oh faithful guide,
In this journey we both reside.
But sometimes, you weigh me down,
With your logic, your rules, your frown.

You say, "No pain, no gain, my friend,
To success, there must be suffering to attend."
But can't you see, dear brain of mine,
That there's more to life than just the grind?

When I use my heart, it's not in vain,
For emotions, too, help me attain
A deeper understanding, a different view,
To see the world in a way that's true.

You blame me for straying from your path,
For following feelings, for taking a bath
In the realms of love, joy, and empathy,
But my heart's whispers bring clarity.

It's not about discarding you, dear brain,
But finding balance, a harmonious refrain.
For in the union of heart and mind,
A symphony of wisdom we shall find.

So, dear brain, I ask of thee,
To let go of rigidity, set us both free.
Embrace the power of emotions' sway,
And together, we'll navigate life's array.

No longer shall you blame my heart,
For it's an essential piece, a vital part.
In unity, we'll soar and explore,
Unveiling the treasures life has in store.

So, dear brain, be gentle, be kind,
And let our spirits intertwine,
For it is in the fusion of heart and brain,
That true wisdom and growth shall reign.
