Loss of sight
Many faces I once saw
I could even see my front door
Things like TV I can no longer see
I can't even see me
One night I closed my eyes
Morning after I could no longer see
Why do bad things happen to me
Doctors didn't know why
Spent years poking at my eye
Even now they still don't know
I can't even see my toe
From birth I've had poor vision
Everyday I have a collision
Poles, doors or walls
I've even had some massive falls
You have no idea on how it feels
Not even able to cook my own meals
My son helps as much as he can
But he is now a man
Living a life without sight
Not even seeing the sun light
Enough to make anyone give up
Like I once thought
Pray you never have to live like this
I can't even see my own ****
I hope you enjoy the poem
