On a day like this
the sun in the sky
think of those you miss
they're the apple of your eye.
Looking down on you
every day & night
so don't ever be blue
they're a star shining bright.
Won't be hard to find
they'll be in plain sight
lookup not behind
they are your guiding light.
Guide you in the right way
have their eyes on you now
be with you every day
thank them somehow.
We'll see them again
you know we can't wait
hugs & a big grin
together at Heaven's gate.
