Darling,
The birds retreat to their nests,
As the first summer rain begins to drop,
We're outside, in the dark where the thugs find hope,
We retreat to our umbrella,
Where we share our last cigarette,
I'll cover you while you smoke,
Just so you don't get cold.
The rain pours on my head,
Only we believe that happiness goes on, even though we are dead.
Rain.
