I am here with something to say


To our heroes overseas

And to those who have served our country


To those who know firsthand

Of the horrors of war and what it does to a woman or man


We want you to know we are here pulling for you

We thank you for the service you do


It is because of brave people like you that we are free

Ordinary people doing the extraordinary


Everyone is special and we hold life at high regard

Here today we celebrate veterans from the army, navy, national guard


The marines, coast guard, and air force

Deeply indebted to them all of course
