That Time**

It’s Christmas time, the time that Jesus Christ was born

Look in the sky for the Bethlehem Star the morn

The house is warm and the fire beckons

Perfect with cocoa and a book I reckons

Memories of family time all together

Hugs, thanks, and joy, and laughter

Some good, some sorrow your life has cost

Though we may wander; with God we’re not lost

I don’t want anything except smiling eyes

Psalms and Proverbs are words of wise

Seasons are like life; Christmas signals new

Out with the old in me and you

Soar with the snow; unique in your life

God has his reasons even through strife

Thank you my friend for being the one

I try to pierce the grayness with sun

You are my lamp, my guide, and my blinds

I am your ears, and shoulders, and mind

As Jesus the King was servant so I shall be too

Tell me, please tell me, what you would have me do

Life’s clock is ticking constantly with no wait or stop

I want to get things done before I get to the top
