Lord, be with me: in all I say and do

Lord, be with me: make me more like you

Lord, protect me: through each day and in the night

Lord, please help me: as I try to do what is right

Lord, guide me: as it is you I try to seek

Lord, forgive me: I fail and am so weak



Jesus, be my courage: to go wherever you ask

Jesus, be my strength: to accomplish any task

Jesus, be before me: everywhere I go

Jesus, burn within me: Your mercy and grace overflow

Jesus, please heal me: heal my every part

Jesus, free me: and break my hardened heart



Christ, surround me: with your peace and grace

Christ, all around me: let me see your face

Christ, beside me: as I go through each day

Christ, please hear me: as I come to you to pray

Christ, behind me: always ready to catch

Christ’s grace amazing: to save me; a wretch



God, ever-loving and ever-present: we are never alone

God, always waiting with open arms: for us to come back home
