The story of Today that kissed yesterday,
But soon forgot about it tomorrow
Father Time being around the corner,
Was stealing time off the Grandfather clock
Without anymore hours left to borrow

And as the tides of time
Were constantly pulling and pushing
Before and After were dancing in distant silhouettes;
Constantly moving...

I learned a lonely second is a low as feeling alone
An author of writing out all the tiny beautiful moments,
We seem not to have any control or authority
As we are all bound by Time's law
